Welcome to this most exciting project, an historic event in the annals of GW history.

The George Washington University is home to one of the largest Jewish communities on any private university in the country. We have a strong and vibrant community and the time has come to take this major step; it's a sign that our community has come of age.

 

Writing our own Torah Scroll is also a unique opportunity for each of us to own a part of a Holy Torah Scroll. You can do this by purchasing a section, a verse, a word or a letter in this special Torah.

We look forward to completing this project together with your help and then to dedicate its completion with singing and dancing in the streets as we parade the Torah to its new home – The Sasouness Family Chabad House at GW.
